Board Co-ChairLocal businessman and eldest son of Myron B. Thompson, Myron K. Thompson has continued to provide insight into relevant Hawaiian cultural and environmental issues that will impact our future generation of students. He has maintained a clear focus on those issues that kept his father engaged and advocating for the rights of all citizens of Hawaii. |  |
Board Co-Chair
Dr. Malia Chow, a geneticist by training, is a Policy Analyst at NOAA/NOS NWHI Coral Reef Ecosystem Reserve. Dr. Chow grew up in Hawai’i and graduated from Maryknoll High School. She received a B.S. in Biochemistry from the University of Washington in Seattle and earned a Ph.D. from the Medical school at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Soon after she started working with fish as a post-doctoral fellow at the Center of Marine Biotechnology at the University of Maryland and has worked as a professional at the University of Hawaii. |
